Kids are at the heart of what we do here at Trunki. Our commitment to making products that bring a smile to their faces also means that we need to be good to the planet. We’re on our own journey to make Trunki a greener and more sustainable company.

That journey started with the birth of the business and over the years we have taken action to reduce our environmental impact, we know we can always do more to tackle the complexity of sustainability and will continue to improve our carbon footprint to net zero.

Good to the planet

CARBON NEUTRAL Magma Moulding, our factory based in Plymouth, uses 100% green energy.	ECO PACKAGING Since 2012 our shipping carton can be reused as a kennel for your Trunki. In 2021 we have cut the card used in our retail packaging by 50%, sourcing PEFC card and eco inks.	MADE IN THE UK By re-shoring production from China in 2012 to the UK we stopped using highly pollution ocean freight, factories using coal powered electricity and have complete control and clarity of our supply chain.
RECYCLED PLASTIC We’ve been using a small percentage of recycled plastic in our products for a decade but aim to upscale that to 50% by early 2022 with a specially formulated recycled plastic.	100% RECYCLABE Trunki is made 100% out of plastic and can be fully recycled at the end of its life at local recycling centres. No metal, no screws and pins, just plastic that is easily recycled.	REDUCING WASTE Our products are designed to be used for a very long time and the Trunki can be fully recycled at the end of its life however, our packaging is often disposed of very quickly.
